A few more additions are posted today. One is an addition to The Home Page and the other is an addition to the bottom of The ODODU Language.

Once again it has been two years since there has been a significant evolution in ODODU. Despite this slow pace I remain eternally hopeful that the evolution will eventually speed up. The main change this time is the addition of a new section, The Derivation of Compound Words in ODODU, see Compound Word Derivation. This section provides a formula like procedure to generate compound words containing two consonants. The equation/formula characteristics of the procedure are derived from developments in the Mathematics section, The Derivation of Numbers and Mathematics, and this in turn has resulted in a fairly significant reformulation of that section as well.
Like all evolutionary steps in ODODU this one is not complete. However, it has fortunately reached a level of utility where it makes sense to present it.

As anticipated in the post below The Derivation of Numbers and Mathematics has experienced some additional description and expansion. This is mostly concerned with the derivation of sets and elements of sets and additional illustrations for the derivation of numbers.

This constitutes the first significant modification to ODODU in the last two years and reflects its continuing evolution over time. There are some changes in the language itself, and while these are significant, they do not change the fundamental nature of the language from what was initially presented in 2002. The basic presentation should be more concise than before and many of the redundancies have been eliminated.
There are two new sections in this version. The first is The Derivation of Archetypal Meaning in ODODU which introduces more pictographs to help illustrate the meaning of the archetypal letters and words. The drawings are not very good but will have to do for now.
The second new section is The Derivation of Numbers and Mathematics. This is a first, and very rough, draft of an argument that numbers and mathematics are a fundamental part of language. I expect this section will see lots of editorial and perhaps even conceptual or contextual changes over the next few months.
I hope to make this a more active site than it has been over the last few years, but since I am also starting up a new not for profit corporation, Life Cycle Farming, Inc., this might be delayed more than I would like.
This site was first posted as ODODU on September 2, 2002.
